KYLLINI BEACH RESORT description
Location: It is located 50 km from Araxos airport, 65 km from Ancient Olympia and 300 km from Athens, at one of the most beautiful beaches of Western Peloponnese, in a fantastic garden next to the sea. The sandy beach stretches along 11 km and towards the side of the sea it is flat while towards the hinterland it is enclosed by a natural dunes landscape. The width of the beach varies depending on the season.
What Kyllini Beach can offer: reception, 2 outdoor swimming pools, children swimming pool, indoors heated swimming pool for the intermediate seasons, restaurant with an outdoor veranda with sea view, “Seafront Restaurant” with a magnificent view, Night Club Galaxy on the beach opening after midnight (open 6 days per week), boutique with Minimarket, renovated children’s paradise, romantic and renovated Pergola-Bar, Lobby-Bar (for the intermediate seasons), Tennis bar, TV room with satellite connection and large TV screen, 7 conference halls (20 to 300 persons capacity), W-LAN throughout the hotel complex, Internet hub, Greek Christian Orthodox Chapel, laundry room for the guests, sea towels, umbrellas and deck-chairs (included in the package).
The rooms: 310 rooms (single bed, double bed, family, Junior and Executive suites, 5 categories in the main or side building, all comfortable, all with their own bathroom with a bath tub or shower/WC, balcony, air conditioning and heating, W-LAN, TV, hair drier, beauty mirror, refrigerator, direct telephone line, safe box, view to the garden or the sea. Single room with children’s room (in the main building, view to the garden), economy room (not in the best location) at limited offer. Check-in at 14:00.
Food and beverages: Full-board with rich buffet in the main restaurant, sandwiches and cakes in the Pergola-Bar from 16:00 - 17:00. Night snacks from 00:00-01:00 in the Night Club Galaxy, Seafront Restaurant: Main season, open by the day; lunch alternate to the main restaurant, menu dinner with advance reservation and reservation fee (? 10,- per person). In the main restaurant: during the main meals (breakfast and dinner) wine, beer, fruit juice, water, coffee and tea are included in the price.
Family: In Kyllini Beach Resort one-hour programmes for children aged 4 to 12 years are available in the morning and afternoon. Renovated play-ground, children dinner and babysitter at an extra charge. Professional swimming school Sharky by Matchpoint Sports’ (not included in the price) with the opportunity of participation in the “Hippocampus” swimming competition and win bronze, silver or gold medals.
Sport & Fitness
Wind-surfing and Sailing: 25 wind-surfing boards, 7 catamaran Topcat boats, 5 junior sailing boats for children of 5, 2 junior catamaran (for children of 10). The rental (provided there is the relevant licence) and attendance to the course (at the end of which international Wind-surfing and Sailing certificates are awarded) are not included in the price. Sea skiing and open sea Wakeboarding are also not included in the price.
Tennis: 16 sand courts, 2 of which with lights, Tennis bar, practice wall, balls and rackets rental. The use of the courts and the attendance of the lessons are not included in the price. The lessons are managed by the European Tennis Academy, partner of Swisstennis. The use of the sand courts is allowed only if special shoes are used.
Golf: Driving Range and Putting Green, practice course with 170 m range. The rental of clubs and balls is not included in the price.
Bicycle: The surrounding area with the magnificent hills in the mainland is ideal for mountain-biking.
Light sports: Beach-Volley, football, Boccia, Shuffleboard, table-tennis, Dart, foot-tennis, basket-ball, water-polo etc.
Fitness: Group Fitness, aerobics, back work out, aqua fit, Indoor Cycling etc. Body & Mind: Pilates etc. Fitness Hall, new outdoor area for group Fitness.
